FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Any artists, makers and creative people can open a shop and start selling on Artrula.

All types of hand-crafted, self-designed or self-made products can be sold. As long as your creative stamp is involved in the process. This could be either by making new products or up-cycling existing goods which are now new items.

Simple answer…No. You can be an individual hobbyist or a small group of friends who have decided to make some money in your spare time. Or, you could already have a large back-catalogue of goods which you sell on a recurring basis. 

As a shop owner, the payment gateway used in all transactions with your customers is Stripe. We do not support Paypal or any other payment gateways. You will need a Stripe account when you start selling. Your customers will not need to open an account. All they will need to know is that it’s a safe and secure method of payment.  All major credit cards and debit cards are accepted at the checkout.

We do not have any subscription fees or hidden fees. When you customer makes an order with you we will take a low commission of 5% + 15p for the whole order. Your customer will pay directly to you using Stripe payment gateway.
