Customising your Product with Attributes
What are product attributes?
An important way to group products is to use attributes. Artrula has some default attributes which you can select. Using these default attributes will also allow the customer to filter products from the Shop page.
Default Attributes
- Color
- Size
- Material
Important – If you feel that an attribute is missing or a current attribute is missing sub-items and you would like it adding, please, email us at support@artrula.com with the attribute name and its sub-items.
You can add attributes to your product from the “Edit Product” screen
Adding Store Attributes
Click the drop-down box next to the “Add Attribute” button to select a default attribute. When you have chosen your attribute, click the “Add Attribute” to add it to the product.
Once the attribute is added you will have an option to add the values(s) for the attribute. For each default attribute, there are sub-items. Click the values(s) drop-down box to add the default sub-items. (If any sub-items are missing, please, email us at support@artrula.com with the sub-items which you would like to add)
Click “Visible on the product page” if you would like your attribute to be added to your product page view.
Adding Custom Attributes
It is possible to add custom attributes to your product if required. Click the drop-down box next to the “Add Attribute” button and select “Custom Attribute”. When you have chosen your attribute, click the “Add Attribute” to add it to the product. When you have chosen your attribute, click the “Add Attribute” to add it to the product.
Once the attribute is added you will have an option to add the values(s) for the attribute.
Click “Visible on the product page” if you would like your attribute to be added to your product page view.
